Once a month a group of ladies that I worked with at various times during the 34 years I worked at Fort Leonard Wood get together for lunch. Today was the day. It's always fun to catch up on what everyone is doing and who has heard from fellow workers. I also ate too much but it sure was good!
Then it was off to Wal Mart to look at vacuums. I have a very good, almost new Electrolux canister style vacuum that I thought would work great in the RV because it would be easy to take apart and store. It is; but, the only good place to store it is under the bed. The bed is heavy and hard to lift up and it seems in this small living space, I need to vacuum more often. So, I was looking for something light weight that would be easy to get to for a quick clean up. I bought a Shark carpet cleaner. It's rechargeable like a dust buster. Of course it needed to be charged for 20 hours before I could use it. I think it looks like it might work if it will stay charged long enough and will pick up the dirt. Wish me luck!

Hi Donna, I have one of the hand held 110 volt Sharks. It has a long extention for the hose, brushes and crevice tools, but it is only good for quick stuff. But it sure is handy for sucking the air out of space bags. Happy Trails, Penny, TX
How do you like the new vacuum? We have central vac but I'm not overly impressed with it but we don't really have anywhere to store another one.
