Lake Amistad

We decided today we would find a place on Lake Amistad that we could take the dogs to and maybe let them off their leashes. We drove to three or four of the recreation areas around and finally drove down a dirt road that was very, very rough and found a picnic area/swimming area. Here are some pictures of the area.

Those stairs led down to the water for swimming and scuba diving.

Stayed about an hour and then we went back to the trailer. Nolan BBQ hamburgers and boy were they good.....rest of the day was spent in the recliner knitting and watching TV.
